A Falls of Rough man was arrested Monday afternoon after assaulting three adults that lived with him at a residence on Indian Ridge Road in Grayson County.
Just before 8 a.m. CST, Kentucky State Police was called by the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office to investigate a homicide at the residence.
Upon officers arriving at the scene, they discovered a deceased female and two other individuals injured at the residence. The deceased female, later identified as 59 year-old Teresa Boles, 59, was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Grayson County Coroner’s Office. Joseph Boles, 60, was flown to the University of Louisville Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Lauren Tabor, 32, Greer’s girlfriend, was transported to Owensboro Health Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Before officers arrived at the scene, Greer had fled the residence in a 2008 Chrysler Town and Country van belonging to Boles. A search of the area was conducted by the Kentucky State Police and the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office, along with agencies in surrounding counties. Kentucky State Police Aircraft Support Branch later found the minivan abandoned on Hollow Church Road near Short Creek. Authorities later learned Greer had a stolen Chevrolet Impala, which was quickly located near the end of Edwards Cemetery Road. Greer had exited the vehicle and was apprehended without incident around 1:28 p.m. CST, with the assistance of Kentucky State Police’s air unit.
Greer was charged with murder, two counts of attempted murder, theft by unlawful taking auto, burglary 1st-degree, and fleeing or evading police 1st-degree motor vehicle and on foot and lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.
Kentucky State Police was assisted at the scene by the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office, Leitchfield Police Department, Kentucky State Police’s Aircraft Support Branch, Grayson County EMS, Falls of Rough Fire Department, and the Grayson County Coroner’s Office.
The investigation remains ongoing by the Kentucky State Police.
