Two people were shot near Okolona early Saturday morning, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said police responded to a shooting in the 1700 block of Rangeland Road around 2:45 a.m. in the Newburg neighborhood. Police found a man who had been shot in the arm and a woman who had a graze wound.
Police later learned the shooting happened in the 6900 block of Shepherdsville Road, near Fern Valley Road. Both victims were taken to University Hospital with what is believed to be non-life-threatening injuries, according to Mitchell.
LMPD’s Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating, but there are no suspects.
