
The Jefferson County Coroner released the identity of a man who died at the UPS Worldport facility in Louisville on Thursday afternoon.
Dallas Carroll II, age 46 of Georgetown, Indiana, died after he was hit by a vehicle.
Louisville Regional Airport Authority Police and Fire units responded to the facility on Grade Lane around 4:30 p.m., according to LMPD spokesperson John Bradley. Carroll died before he could be taken to the hospital. Police believe no foul play was involved in Carroll’s death.
The incident was reported to the Division of Occupational Safety and Health Compliance and an inspection has been opened. Officials with Team Kentucky’s Education and Labor Cabinet said the investigation can take up to six months to complete.
