The man accused of helping to fatally shoot a man on Dixie Highway last November appeared in court Saturday.
According to court documents, 23-year-old Stephen Robinson Jr. and a juvenile co-defendant allegedly shot Paul Pitney several times. The shooting happened November 7 around 11:35 p.m. in the 1100 block of Dixie Highway. Pitney’s two children were inside the house during the shooting. Police were then called to the 1200 block of Arcade Avenue where shots were fired outside a house with three people inside.
Officials say they were able to track the car used from the shooting on Dixie Highway to a Circle K where the juvenile co-defendant is seen on surveillance getting out of the car. From there, they were able to get a positive ID.
Robinson is charged with complicity to murder, five counts of complicity to wanton endangerment, and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.
His bond has been set at $100,000. He is expected back in court on February 26.
