A man is dead after a head-on collision in the Fairdale neighborhood Saturday evening, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said officers were called to the intersection of New Cut Road and Brown Austin Road around 8:40 p.m. Within minutes, officers arrived and found the two-car crash.
Ellis said a man, who wasn’t wearing his seat belt, was found and pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the other car was checked by EMS but refused further medical treatment.
LMPD’s Traffic Unit is investigating.
