Police have opened an investigation after a man was found dead in the Iroquois neighborhood.
Louisville Metro police responded to the 800 block of Inverness Avenue on a report of a person down just before noon on Sunday. When they arrived, they found 45-year-old Alain Garcia Perez dead with blunt force injuries.
During the investigation, detectives learned Perez’s car was missing. On Monday, the car was found in Florida, near Miami. The person driving the car is considered a person of interest at this time.
