Police evacuated the Walmart on Bashford Manor Lane Wednesday morning for a bomb threat.
According the LMPD’s X page, the threat came in at 7:23 a.m. via phone.
The bomb squad and several other units responded to the scene and the parking lot was blocked off during the investigation.
The all-clear announcement was posted on X about 9:40 a.m. and police began leaving the scene. According to the post it is the second bomb scare at a local Walmart within a week. Both incidents remain under investigation, but it is not known if the threats are related.
