A 17-year-old male is dead after a shooting late Friday night in Pleasure Ridge Park.
Dwight Mitchell, a spokesman for Louisville Metro Police, said officers responded to a shooting in the 1700 block of Bonnyville Boulevard around 12:45 a.m.
Police were then told the victim was found with a gunshot wound in the 4900 block of Dixie Highway.
Da’moni Martell Smith was pronounced deceased on the scene.
LMPD’s Homicide Unit is investigating and there are no suspects at this time.
