A 50 year-old Sebree man was arrested after a traffic stop in Henderson County Monday evening.
A Kentucky State Police trooper on patrol observed a silver Dodge Dakota driving recklessly around 7:15 p.m. and conducted a traffic stop at KY 415 and KY 136.
Troopers located suspected methamphetamine, marijuana and other drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.
Ricky D. Downs was arrested and charged with Trafficking a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree (Methamphetamine); Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; Possession of Marijuana; Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence (Controlled Substance); Reckless Driving and Failure to Notify Department of Transportation of Address Change.
He was lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center in Henderson under a $5,000 cash bond. The investigation is on-going.
