Eleven former students who attended St. Stephen Martyr Catholic School have filed a lawsuit against the Archdiocese of Louisville.
According to documents, the lawsuit alleges the school ignored misconduct by former teacher Jordan Fautz for years.
Fautz was arrested in February, charged with distribution and possession of child pornography.
Investigators said while employed at the school, Fautz manipulated student photos into explicit images and shared the images with undercover officers.
The lawsuit also states Fautz was known to have violent outbursts toward students, including throwing chair and objects at them.
Fautz is also accused of having an inappropriate relationship with an 8th grade student and the school allegedly placed restrictions on the student instead of looking into Fautz.
The former students are accusing the school of negligence and failing in their duty to report.
