A man is dead following a shooting in the Algonquin neighborhood Thursday afternoon.
Officers responded to a call of a shooting in the 1800 block of Cypress Street around 4:30 and found a man who had been shot multiple times.
While officers and EMS workers attempted live saving steps, the man was declared dead at the scene.
There are no suspects yet, but Louisville Metro Police Department is asking anyone with information to call the anonymous tip line at 502-574-LMPD.
