A man drowned at a Weldon Peete boat ramp in Bowling Green Saturday morning.
Warren County Coroner Kevin Kirby identified the man as 58-year-old Thomas Lee Gravil.
Bowling Green Police Department Public Information Officer Ronnie Ward said the man was attempting to load his boat into the water when it slipped away from him. He tried to retrieve the boat but could not.
Ward said bystanders pulled him from the water and contacted emergency personnel.
