
A man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries early Tuesday morning after he was stabbed in the Newburg neighborhood.
According to Louisville Metro Police Department spokesperson Aaron Ellis, officers were called to the 3200 block of Twin Oak Lane shortly after midnight for a report of a stabbing.
When they arrived, they found a man in the parking lot suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Officers performed life-saving measures until EMS arrived, according to Ellis.
He was taken to UofL Hospital with injuries that were serious but appeared to be non-life threatening.
LMPD’s Sixth Division Detectives are handling the investigation.
