A Louisville man has been sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for attempted online enticement of a minor.
According to court documents, 33 year-old Joshua Ryan Teichman was sentenced to 10 years. Investigators said Teichman used online apps on his cell phone to communicate with a minor female and an undercover law enforcement agent he believed to be the minor female.
That is when he knowingly attempted to entice the minor to engage in criminal sexual activity by exchanging sexually explicit images and making plans to meet in person for sexual contact.
His 10-year sentence will be followed by 15 years of supervised release. There is no parole in the federal system.
This case was investigated by the FBI.
