A man has been arrested in connection to a Tuesday morning Preston Highway fatal hit-and-run.
Louisville Metro police said the crash happened around 12:40 a.m. near the intersection of Preston Highway and Durrett Lane when a pickup truck hit a bicyclist and didn’t stop. The bicyclist, a woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Juan F. Munzo Alcala, 36, was charged with murder, aggravated DUI, wanton endangerment, and no insurance. He was lodged in the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections.
