Police have arrested a 21-year-old man in connection to a deadly shooting that happened on Taylor Boulevard Wednesday afternoon.
An arrest citation says police were called to respond to a shooting in the 3400 block around 5 p.m. When officers arrived, they found a man shot multiple times. He was taken to the University of Louisville Hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Video from a nearby business showed Raymond Holmes chasing the victim and shooting him, according to the citation. A search warrant was executed on Holmes’ car and detectives found a handgun that had been reported stolen back in May 2023.
Police charged him with murder and receiving stolen property. Holmes appeared in court on Thursday.
