A man is in the hospital after a stabbing in the Smoketown Jackson neighborhood Saturday morning, according to Louisville Metro Police.
LMPD spokesperson Aaron Ellis said around 10 a.m. officers were called to the 700 block of South Preston Street where they found a man who had been stabbed in the leg. He was taken to UofL Hospital where he is expected to survive.
Police later arrested 54-year-old Fred K. Pryor, charging him with second-degree assault. He had an outstanding warrant for his arrest as well for a failure to appear in court in 2019.
LMPD’s Fourth Division is investigating.
