The Kentucky State Capitol building was cleared shortly after a reported bomb threat, according to Kentucky State Police.
Kentucky State Police first reported they were investigating an active threat around 3:30 Tuesday afternoon.
At 3:52, they posted that the incident was cleared.
Kentucky State Police said their preliminary investigation indicates the threat was a hoax call.
They say a search of the phone number appears to be associated with similar incidents in different parts of the country.
Investigation into the incident remains ongoing by the Kentucky State Police.
