A death investigation is underway after human remains were found on a northern Bullitt County property.
The Bullitt County Sheriff’s Office says the remains were found on the evening of April 29 by a person using a bush hog on Old Preston Highway North, north of Little Flock Baptist Church and near Tanyard Branch Creek.
How the person died has not been released.
Sheriff’s office investigators are going through missing persons reports and working with the medical examiner’s office to identify the remains.
