
A man was shot multiple times Wednesday morning near downtown Louisville.
Louisville Metro Police spokesperson John Bradley said officers responded around 10:30 a.m. to Broadway and 9th Street, near the L&N Building, on the report of a person shot. Officers arrived on scene to find a man with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was transported to UofL Hospital and is expected to survive thanks to the help of Jefferson County Public Schools police officer.
The officer with Jefferson County Public Schools rendered aid to the man who had been shot in the leg. All of it was captured on body camera footage.
There are no suspects in the case. Police are asking anyone who may have information in the case to call LMPD’s anonymous Crime Tip Line at (502) 574-LMPD (5673). Tips can also be submitted anonymously through the online Crime Tip Portal.
