The Louisville Metro Police homicide unit is investigating after a man died from what appear to be multiple gunshot wounds in the Beechmont neighborhood near the Highland Park neighborhood.
Around 6:15 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to a call of a possible dead body along the railroad tracks at Allmond Avenue and Louisville Avenue. There they found the victim, “obviously deceased” with apparent gunshot wounds, according to a Louisville Metro Police Department spokesperson.
There are no suspects yet and Louisville Metro Police is asking for the public’s help. Anyone with information is encouraged to either call the anonymous tip line at (502)-574-LMPD or use the Online Crime Tip Portal.
