
A man was killed in a motorcycle crash after police said he drove into a concrete barrier on I-64 West, ejecting him off his bike and into a nearby parking lot.
The crash happened around 3:10 p.m. Tuesday (05/28) afternoon on I-64 West near the 9th Street exit ramp. Police said three motorcyclists were speeding when one of the drivers lost control, hit a concrete barrier and was ejected from his bike, falling 30 feet to a parking lot off Washington Street near Frazier Museum.
Police said his bike continued another 250 feet before it came to a stop. The man died at the scene before he could be taken to the hospital. The other two motorcyclists stayed at the scene.
