Internal investigations into two teachers removed from a Mt. Washington school are finished, according to Bullitt County Public Schools.
The cases from Crossroads Elementary were separate and unrelated.
Records show Superintendent Jesse Bacon wrote a letter to James Edlin to inform him that he was fired for conduct unbecoming of a teacher and violations of the professional code of ethics. Bullitt County Public Schools said allegations against Edlin that he pulled two students by their arms and into a pod out of frustration were substantiated.
In the second case, Bacon said kindergarten teacher Kimberly Baker will return to her job at Crossroads. Records show the internal investigation could not determine how the student got a bruise after an allegation that Baker grabbed a student by the arm. She denied doing that.
