A man is in the hospital in critical condition after a crash on Preston Highway Wednesday afternoon.
Louisville Metro Police said they were called to the intersection of Preston and Union Avenue around 5:17 p.m.
When officers arrived, police said they found a motorcycle and a vehicle had crashed. Authorities said the motorcyclist is at the hospital in critical condition.
LMPD’s Traffic Unit is investigating.
Police added all parties stayed at the scene, and no charges are expected.
Louisville Metro EMS said all lanes on Preston from Phillips Lane to Hart Avenue were shut down for a while due to the crash.
