Louisville Metro Police Department said its officers are working hard to get drugs and illegal firearms off Louisville streets.
According to a post on Facebook, the department’s Criminal Interdiction Division has seized millions in drugs including nearly 683-pounds of methamphetamine, 400-pounds of cocaine and 79-pounds of fentanyl so far in 2024.
The Criminal Interdiction Division has also recovered 214 illegally possessed guns and has made 276 felony arrests in which some of them resulted in 33 criminal indictments.
