A teenager and two Amish people were injured after they crashed in Trigg County Saturday afternoon.
The crash occurred on Buffalo Cerulean Road near Wallonia Road. A Trigg County Sheriff’s deputy said an 18-year-old in a car traveling south collided with a horse and buggy going in the same direction.
The teenage driver was airlifted to a Nashville hospital for treatment while the Amish couple in the buggy were transported to an area hospital for their injuries.
The Trigg County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the horse lived through the crash and was taken home by the Amish.
