The parents of a missing baby were in court Monday morning in Hartford.
Kentucky State Police are continuing to search for 8-month-old Miya Tucker, who hasn’t been seen by family members in a month.
Miya’s parents Tesla Tucker and Cage Rudd were arrested Friday in Daviess County on several drug charges, including criminal abuse of a minor, abandonment of a minor and engaging in organized crime.
Troopers arrested Miya’s grandfather Ricky Smith on the same charges. They also arrested Miya’s grandmother Billie Smith on a domestic violence warrant.
Billie’s warrant stems from an incident in Daviess County on October of 2023. Troopers were conducting a search/welfare check for the missing eight-month old when they discovered Mrs. Smith had an active warrant.
Troopers arrested Timothy L. Roach as well, after they say he threw un-prescribed Suboxone pills under his vehicle.
Billie is being held on a $25,000 cash bond.
Roach and Billie J. Smith were taken to the Ohio County Detention Center in Hartford.
Tesla and Cage were in the Daviess County Detention Center, but appeared in Ohio County court for the abandonment of a minor charge.
Their next hearing is now set for June 17 at 9 a.m.
