
Louisville Metro Police Department announced the arrest of six suspects they believe are responsible for a string of vehicle thefts and possibly could be connected to cases in other counties as well.
Two suspects were arrested Tuesday for leading police on a 130 miles per hour chase in a stolen vehicle. Those suspects were Deonte Bass and Desmond Carney and now Louisville Metro Police Department is announcing the arrests of four more suspects as well.
Those four are Dmontray Ford, Truth Martin, Chrisaunel Lambirth and a fourth suspect that is a juvenile.
Police believe all six are connected to a series of vehicle and gun thefts in the Louisville area and beyond. Middletown Police Department, Oldham, Spencer and Bullitt County law enforcement agencies were also involved in this investigation.
These suspects have also been tied to the car thefts in Norton Commons and Glen Oaks.
Police said the suspects know no bounds and have stolen from neighborhoods all across the Louisville Metro.
