The Kentucky Court of Appeals agrees with a previous ruling concerning a Louisville-area pool company owner.
Tracy Davenport and Davenport Extreme Pools filed a lawsuit against two families who she claimed interfered with her business by telling other customers on social media to not use Davenport.
Davenport cited defamation and wanted millions of dollars in damages. But the judge dismissed the case, and Davenport ended up having to pay the attorneys fees.
Tracy Davenport tried to appeal that, but the Kentucky Court of Appeals just agreed with the previous ruling that the case should be dismissed and attorneys fees should be paid.
This case is separate from her criminal, civil and bankruptcy cases. Davenport is accused of taking people’s money but never building their pools.
