
The National Weather Service confirmed tornadoes touched down in Louisville and southern Indiana Thursday afternoon.
The tornado hit Louisville along Woodland Avenue between Catapla Street and Cypress Street. No severe thunderstorm or tornado warning took place for the storm that produced the tornado.
Preliminary assessments indicate the tornado was an EF-1 with winds of 95 miles per hour.
According to National Weather Service, an EF-0 tornado with peak winds of 80 MPH touched down in Harrison County, Indiana. The one mile path started at IN-135 to the ESE ending north of Corydon.
