A Bowling Green man is facing multiple charges after a crash early Friday morning.
Shortly after midnight on Friday, Bowling Green police were dispatched to a collision at the intersection of Russellville Road and Campbell Lane. Upon arrival, authorities discovered two vehicles facing the same direction on opposite sides of the road.
The driver of one of the vehicles was identified as 30 year=old Pedro Gregorio, who police say had glassy eyes, slurred speech and an odor of alcohol. He was also reportedly unsteady on his feet. After consenting to a sobriety test, he was placed into custody and transported to the Medical Center of Bowling Green.
A search of Gregorio’s vehicle unveiled multiple open and empty containers of alcohol. There was also no insurance belonging to Gregorio found.
Further investigation found that Gregorio had pled guilty to driving under the influence on two prior occasions in 2019 and 2020.
After receiving medical clearance, Gregorio was transported to the Warren County Regional Jail and charged with Criminal mischief; Wanton endangerment; Operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol; Failure to maintain required insurance; No operator’s license and Possession of an open alcoholic beverage in motor vehicle.
The driver of the second vehicle, a pregnant woman, was not injured.
