Louisville police have arrested two teenagers in connection to the murder investigation of 13-year-old DaViawn Blackmon.
Blackmon was found dead after he was shot in the Chickasaw neighborhood near 38th and Broadway on June 27. On Thursday, Louisville Metro Police announced they arrested a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old in connection to his death.
The 15-year-old is charged with one count of murder, attempted murder, complicity to robbery, and tampering with physical evidence. In addition, police charged the 16-year-old with one count of complicity to murder, complicity to robbery and possessing a handgun as a minor.
Police said no additional information is available due to the age of the suspects and the ongoing investigation.
