Three juvenile suspects were arrested in Vine Grove early Friday morning after police say they fled a traffic stop.
In a Facebook post, Vine Grove police say two of their officers initially saw a suspicious vehicle idling with its lights on near Ethan Court in Vine Grove. When they approached the vehicle, three juveniles and an adult man fled, prompting a short chase.
The three juveniles were arrested but the man fled into nearby woods and got away.
Police say two of the juveniles were wearing ski masks. They also had burglary tools and a stolen weapon.
The juveniles’ legal guardians were contacted after the arrest and they were returned home.
The descriptions of the suspects is similar to the description of the suspects involved in a number of attempted burglaries in the same area that were reported Thursday. However, Vine Grove Police have not said if they believe the incidents are connected.
The search for the man who fled is still ongoing.
