One person is dead following a house fire on Saturday morning in Glasgow.
The Glasgow Fire Department reported the fire occurred at 117 Hummingbird Lane, near Lexington Drive. Firefighters entered through the front door and extinguished the blaze.
A female victim was found dead inside the home, according to the Barren County Coroner’s Office. No further details about her identity have been released.
The Glasgow Police Department said the body has been sent for an autopsy, which will determine the cause of death and whether foul play was involved.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
