A man is dead after a triple shooting early Monday morning in Old Louisville.
Louisville Metro Police officers were called around 9:40 a.m. to the 400 block of West Oak Street. Once on scene, they found three shooting victims, a man and two women, in the parking lot in front of a business, according to a news release from Louisville Metro Police Department.
Officers at the scene began to render first aid to the victims until EMS arrived. All three were taken to UofL Hospital, where the man was listed in critical condition. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital, according to an update from the police department Monday afternoon.
The women’s injuries were not considered life-threatening, according to the release, and they are expected to survive.
Detectives are working to determine the relationship between the victims, if any, as well as what led up to shooting.
