A driver that left one killed from an accident in December of 2023 was charged with second degree manslaughter Friday in Christian County.
In a press release issued by the Hopkinsville Police Department, Jaden Johnson was found operating a vehicle at high speeds. At the time of the incident, Johnson was traveling “upwards of 90 mph in a posted 35 mph zone” on Bill Bryan Boulevard in Hopkinsville.
Johnson’s vehicle struck another vehicle driven by 34-year-old Adrian Martez Tucker of Hopkinsville. Tucker had to be extricated by emergency personnel where he was then pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Crime Suppression Unit served the indictment warrant to Johnson.
He remains at the Christian County Jail with a $100,000 cash bond.
