
Louisville Metro Police are investigating after human remains were found in the Russell neighborhood.
LMPD Spokesperson Aaron Ellis said officers responded to the 400 block of South 28th Street near Green Alley on a report of human remains found just after 2 p.m. Monday.
Ellis said the remains were found on a construction site, and were taken to the Jefferson County Medical Examiner’s office to determine the cause of death.
LMPD’s Homicide Unit is leading the investigation.
