Two people were hospitalized after a shooting in Shively Friday evening.
According to Sgt. Jordan Brown, spokesperson for Shively Police, officers responded to the 3500 block of Fern Lea Road on a report of shots fired around 6:15 p.m.
Shortly after police arrived on scene, they were notified that two victims, a male and a female, had arrived at an area hospital by private means.
Brown said the man and woman, both in their early 20s, were shot several times, but are expected to survive.
