A DoorDash driver is accused of stealing a package from a residence on Lynnwood Way Monday night.
Bowling Green Police arrested 32 year-old Alexander T. Kennedy, of Bowling Green, after he allegedly stole the package.
A witness reported seeing a man delivering for DoorDash near an apartment, later identified as Kennedy, who was driving a black SUV.
According to the witness, they saw the SUV leave a parking lot, then park across the street. Shortly after, the driver was seen taking a package from a neighbor’s doorstep.
Police were able to track down Kennedy using the vehicle and license plate description provided by the witness.
Officers located him on Audley Avenue, where he initially denied taking the package. However, police determined he was responsible.
Kennedy has been charged with theft of mail matter and receiving stolen property.
