Kentucky State Police is investigating the death of an Edmonson County man.
On Monday (09/09) at approximately 7:30 pm, Kentucky State Police Post 3 received notification of a deceased male at his residence at 80 Timberwood Drive in Smiths Grove.
The Edmonson County Coroner pronounced 43 year-old Christopher W. Helson, of Smiths Grove, deceased at the scene. An autopsy was scheduled next day.
Police said there is no threat to the community at this time. The investigation is ongoing by the Kentucky State Police.
