
Police are searching for a suspect accused of punching a TARC bus driver in the face last month.
According to the Louisville Metro Police Department, the assault happened around 9:30 a.m. August 27 in NuLu.
The driver of the TARC bus told responding officers he was assaulted by a passenger who ran away before police arrived.
The police report indicates the assault caused swelling and pain to the TARC bus driver’s face, head and neck. The attacker will be charged with fourth-degree assault when he is found.
Louisville Metro Police Department is encouraging anyone with information about the assault to leave an anonymous tip by calling the police LMPD crime tip line at 502-574-LMPD (5673). Tips can also be submitted anonymously through the online LMPD Crime Tip Portal.
