
On Sunday (09/15) the Christian County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a motorcycle that lead to a drug arrest.
The passenger, 35-year-old Tara R. Henderson, was found to be in possession of a black book bag. According to the press release, she initially said the bag belonged to the driver.
After further investigation, deputies found she had an outstanding warrant from Trigg County for contempt of court. After searching the bag, authorities found a black container with a clear glass pipe containing suspected methamphetamine residue, a small baggie containing suspected methamphetamine, and two straws.
She later claimed ownership of the bag and was arrested. Henderson was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamine).
She was lodged in the Christian County Jail.
