One man is dead after a fatal vehicle crash in the 1400 block of River Street in Bowling Green.
Bowling Green Police released a statement saying a car traveling north on River Street drove into the opposite lane of traffic, hitting a pickup truck head-on Tuesday.
The driver of the truck, 89-year-old Dennis R. Carter of Bowling Green, was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was in the vehicle.
The driver of the car was treated for minor injuries and the passenger was taken to a local hospital for non life-threatening injuries.
No charges have been filed at this time.
A section of the road between Louisville Road and the bridge at River Street was closed for several hours for reconstruction.
The investigation is ongoing.
