The body of a 17-year-old who went missing Friday evening in Barren River has been recovered, according to Cody Fox with Kentucky Fish and Wildlife.
He said the teen’s body was recovered at 2:59 p.m. Sunday above a lowhead dam in Warren County.
Kentucky Fish and Wildlife were assisted on the scene by Warren County EMS, the Bowling Green Fire Department, and EMS from Barren, Hart, and Taylor counties.
This comes after emergency responders spent three days searching for the local teen who was trying to swim in the Barren River.
