
Scottsville Police responded to multiple reports of a person unconscious in the parking lot of Tractor Supply Company on Monday (09/23).
When they arrived, officers found 67-year-old Karen A. King of Westmoreland, Tennessee, who was awake.
After an investigation, a K9 was deployed for an open-air sniff around the vehicle. The dog issued a positive alert for narcotics in the vehicle.
Police searched the vehicle and found two baggies of cocaine. She was arrested and charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal littering.
She was taken to the Allen County Detention Center.
