A Louisville man convicted of 19 sex crimes against children was sentenced to 60 years in prison.
John Taylor was arrested in April 2023 for sexually abusing three different children.
Prosecutors said those children were all under the age of 12 and Taylor was their caregiver at the time of the abuse in 2021. A Louisville jury found Taylor guilty of 19 sex-related crimes in August. Those charges include rape, sodomy and sex abuse of a minor.
Thursday, county prosecutors said he was sentenced to 60 years in prison and will likely spend the rest of his life behind bars.
