
Daviess County Sheriff’s Office officials have arrested a woman on multiple drug charges, along with child endangerment.
According to a press release, detectives served a search warrant at a home in the 2500 block of West 10th Street in Owensboro as part of a fentanyl trafficking investigation.
Prior to the search, detectives made multiple undercover controlled purchases of fentanyl from 28-year-old Tiana Garrard.
Detectives found a large amount of fentanyl pills, along with other drug paraphernalia in the home.
Some of the fentanyl pills were found within reaching distance of an infant child that lived in the home.
Garrard was lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center and charged with Aggravated Trafficking Controlled Substance greater than or equal to 28 Grams of Fentanyl; Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree; Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Offense (Fentanyl); Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense; Possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess.
