
Bowling Green Police responded to a suspicious person call in the 2000 block of Russellville Road Friday morning.
Officers located 34 year-old Dustin Cardwell, of Bowling Green, who they say was attempting to sell a vehicle from a dealer lot without being employed by the company.
Cardwell was found in possession of vehicle keys and titles. Further investigation revealed he had broken into the dealership and taken the property, according to police.
He was arrested and lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail. He is charged with Third-degree burglary; Theft by unlawful taking over $10,000; First-degree criminal mischief; Unauthorized possession of a title; No operator’s license and Reckless driving.
He is being held without bond.
