A man is in the hospital after a stabbing at the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections.
Louisville Metro Department of Corrections officials said a fight between two inmates broke out Monday around 10:55 a.m. One man used a makeshift weapon to stab the other man. He was taken to the hospital where he is expected to survive.
Officials said the man who stabbed him has been identified and segregated. Charges are pending against him following an investigation by Louisville Metro Department of Corrections’ Professional Standards Unit.
