A man is in the hospital after a shooting in the Taylor Berry neighborhood Monday evening, according to the Louisville Metro Police Department.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 100 block of Algonquin Parkway around 7:15 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot and performed first aid until EMS could arrive. Ellis said the man was then taken to UofL Hospital and is expected to survive.
LMPD’s Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is handling the ongoing investigation as detectives work to learn what led up to the shooting. There are no suspects at this time.
